CamelPhat – February 6 (Reframe Studios, Los Angeles)
Grammy nominated duo CamelPhat will be coming to Los Angeles on Friday February 6 at Reframe Studios. Liverpool natives Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala will be bringin=g their Experience performance to Reframe Studios, which “becomes the blank canvas for their immersive set, where sound, visuals, and production amplify every moment.” The 21+ show starts at 10:00pm, with New York based DJ and producer Kotiēr opening things up.
CamelPhat’s 2020 debut album “Dark Matter” contains a number of my favorites, including “For A Feeling” with ARTBAT, “Hypercolour” featuring Yannis Philippakis of Foals, “Easier” featuring LOWES, “Panic Room” with AU/RA, and “Cola” with Elderbrook.
Their second album released in 2023 called “Spiritual Milk” contains collaborations with the likes of Max Milner, Anyma, Ali Love, and Shimza and Julia Church.
