Bob Moses & Cannons – May 2 (The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, San Diego)

Canadian duo Bob Moses and Los Angeles based trio Cannons will be coming to San Diego on Saturday May 2. Their co-headline Afterglow tour will take place at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. Doors open at 6:00pm, with the all ages show starting at 6:30pm
Grammy nominated Vancouver natives Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance are former high school classmates who started their project in 2012 after reconnecting in a Lowe’s parking lot in New York City. The New York based group’s fourth album called “Blink” was released in October, with “Keep Love Waiting”, “We Made It”, and “Mine to Hold” a few of my favorites.
Michelle Joy (vocals), Ryan Clapham (guitar), and Paul Davis (drums/keys) also have an interesting story on how they came together: in 2013, Michelle put out a Craigslist ad looking for a band that needed a singer (and somehow didn’t become a Dateline episode), with Ryan and Paul responding. Their fifth album titled “Everything Glows” will be released next month on Friday March 27.
