Tao Andra – RAZR EP
Tao Andra returns to Volta Records once again for a sizzling two track peak time techno EP titled “RAZR”. Also consisting of “TNT” with Argentinean DJ and producer TimiR, the two songs from the Portugal based artist make use of punchy beats, hypnotic vocals, and pummeling basslines. The set was put out on Victor Ruiz’s record label he founded in 2022 in Portugal.
“For me, this EP is all about dancefloor power,” shares Tao Andra. “‘RAZR’ is a track that has a lot of punch and sexiness at the same time. I loved the cadence of the vocals and I wanted the track to follow that rhythm. It makes your body move in a certain way.”
The title tune has been played since last fall, with Victor Ruiz supporting it during his Tomorrowland Brasil set and Tao Andra dropping it in her live set from Marvila8 in Lisbon.
Romanian DJ and producer Alexandra Huma, who now calls Lisbon home after also living in Amsterdam and Berlin, has recently released on Iboga Records, Drumcode, and Arcane.
Buenos Aires native Timoteo Rozenberg has heard his songs on labels like Set About, IAMT, and Electric Ballroom.
