After releasing his five track “And The Stars Always Knew” EP last month, Aash Mehta returns with a new single titled “Backseat Driver”. A few weeks ago, he posted on Instagram “What would it sound like if John Summit and Fred again.. made a song together?”. And you know what? I can definitely hear those vibes in the song with the UK garage and tech house elements blending seamlessly together.
Aash Mehta shares that “The original inspiration for this song was to capture the moment in the backseat of your uber/ride during a night out with friends, after a few drinks, vibing out to music with hope of all the places your night can and will take you.”
The Chicago based DJ, producer, and songwriter has previously performed alongside the likes of Audien, Elephante, Big Wild, and Quinn XCII.
