Basement Jaxx – Where’s Your Head At (Steve Angello Remix)

English duo Basement Jaxx released their second album titled “Rooty” in 2001, which included one of their most well known tracks in “Where’s Your Head At”. Steve Angello had been playing his version of the classic tune for quite some time, and we now have the official release of his remix which “recharges the original’s big beat energy for today’s rejuvenated UK bassline club culture – nostalgic but forward-facing.” The song from Steve Fragogiannis was put out on XL Recordings, which was started in London in 1989.
The Swedish DJ and producer says that “Basement Jaxx were a defining part of my youth, this track stayed with me through so many moments and played a huge part in who I became as an artist. I made a bootleg of it years ago, just out of pure love, so getting the chance to come back to it and release it as an official remix honestly means a lot. Full circle.”
Supporters of the track include Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Sebastian Ingrosso, Fedde Le Grand, OMNOM, B Prada, and Danny Howard.
Grammy nominee Steve Angello recently played at Ultra Music Festival in Miami with Swedish House Mafia a few weeks ago, alongside Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell.
