John Summit – CTRL ESCAPE (Album)
It’s quite fitting that former accountant John Summit released his second album titled “CTRL ESCAPE” last week on Tax Day, which is April 15 here in the United States. Spanning 13 tracks with 10 collaborators, Miami based John Schuster blends tech house and drum and bass with melodic techno and orchestral soundscapes throughout the set. The collection was released through Experts Only (which was started by John Summit in 2022) and Darkroom Records.
The album consists of “Status:Away”, “Shades Of Blue” with Devault and Julia Church, “Sata” with Rohaan, “With Me” with Julia Church, “Don’t Believe It” with Absolutely, “Lights Go Out”, and “Mess w/ Me” with Nija.
Also included are “Chica 305” with Feid, “All The Time” with The Chainsmokers and Ilsey, “OOO”, “Shadows” with LAVINIA, “Time With You” with KILIMANJARO, and “Cyanide” with Absolutely.
