Jasmín – It’s Girls Night / Long Hair EP

Jasmín has joined Fabric Records for the first time with a two track EP called “It’s Girls Night / Long Hair”. The percussion led set from the Dutch-Argentinian DJ and producer uses warped drum patterns and broken rhythms, perfect for the underground warehouse, dark clubs, and everywhere in between. The EP was released through the London based imprint that was started in 2000.
Jasmin Hoek shares that “This record explores a darker and more techno-rooted side of my sound. It represents faint sonic memories of many formative nights in the early years of my club-rat existence, from early ones at Basic Grooves in Enschede and Petrol in Antwerp to the crazy amount of hours I spent in the basement of De School in Amsterdam.
An ode to my favourite place to be, the club, feels right at home with an iconic institution like Fabric London, whose long-running legacy I respect so much. The A-side It’s Girls Night is out now, and the full EP is up for digital and vinyl pre-order as well.”
Jasmín released her “Bite the Hand That Feeds You” EP last October from Hessle Audio, which included “Bite the Hand”, “Overdriven” featuring Older Brother, and “The Ride” featuring Older Brother.
