Not gonna lie, the cover art for “Prrrrfct” by Justin Martin and Mikey Lion is what initally caught my attention, but the song is pretty good too! The San Francisco based artist and San Diego native come together for a catchy tech house tune complete with a wonky bassline and tight drumwork. The dynamic tune was released on What To Do, the record label started by Justin Martin in 2020.

Justin Martin and Mikey Leon previously worked together in 2021 on”Through The Fog“, which was released from Mikey Lions’ Desert Hearts. Last month, Justin Martin and Mikey Lions’ b2b set from Desert Hearts Festival 2025 was uploaded to YouTube.
Justin Martin will be performing at Day Trip in the Park, which takes place Sunday June 14. Also playing will be Westend, Dansyn, and Marta.
Mikey Lion will be playing at June Jam 2026, which takes place Friday June 12 through Monday June 15 at Playa Ponderosa in Arizona. Also performing will be the likes of Nala, Desert Dwellers, Chef Boyarbeatz, Dela Moon, Siren & Seer, Skysia, Tara Brooks, The Sponges, and more.
