1111 & Franky – Rollercoaster (Original Mix)
“Rollercoaster” is the title of the first collaboration between two English artists in 1111 and Franky, a highly energetic and vibrant track with catchy vocals. 1111 is the alias of noted singer and songwriter Lauren L’aimant, while Franky is former The Voice UK contestant Frances Wood. The tune was released through London based Stress Records, which was started in 1990.
Lauren L’aimant has previously worked with artists such as Delta Heavy, Kaskade, and Grafix. Under her 1111 alias, she has released on labels such as FABRICLIVE, Fly Boy Records, and UTOPIA Worldwide
She launched 1111AM Club earlier this year, which is a series of daytime DJ pop ups in local coffee shops and independent spots around her hometown of St. Albans. The most recent event took place at Waffle Wands, and I’m disappointed I live 10 hours away!
West Yorkshire native Frances Wood has been featured on tracks with Futuristic Polar Bears, Patrick Topping, and ManyFew, and has been a songwriter on tracks by Cheat Codes, Klaas, and Tom Enzy.
DJing since 2019, she recently played a couple of shows in Ibiza for the Cosmica Music Label Launch at Word of Mouth Ibiza and with FML presents Ignis at Itaca Ibiza.
