Excision & Level Up – Club XL (Original Mix)
First time collaborators Excision and Level Up have joined forces on a dubstep and techno fusion called “Club XL”. Along with a little help from The Office’s Michael Scott, the track from Canadian Jeff Abel and Los Angeles native Sonya Broner features booming basslines and screeching synths. The single was released on Excision’s record label Subsidia, which he launched in Canada in 2020.
Excision will be performing at Shambhala Music Festival, which takes place Friday July 24 through Monday July 27 at Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada. After that, he’ll be playing at his own festival Bass Canyon, which takes place Friday August 14 through Sunday August 16 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington. But he’s not done yet: Excision will then make his way to Legend Valley in Ohio for another festival of his in Lost Lands, which takes place Friday September 18 through Sunday September 20.
Level Up played at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado earlier this year alongside Zingara as part of their Parallel Spirits tour and uploaded her set to YouTube a few weeks ago. She’ll be performing at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee on Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12 as part of her Celestial Caverns event, alongside TYNAN, MYTHM, Cyclops, and sharlitz web. A bit closer to Orange County, Level Up will be playing at Nova in San Diego on Friday September 25.
