ASLØ – Basement Tool EP
Kurai Records has introduced me to a number of rising hard techno artists since Marie Vaunt launched the imprint in 2024. Up next for the record label is a two track EP from Scottish DJ and producer ASLØ called “Basement Tool”. Glasgow native Abby Sloan, who started playing guitar at the age of 9 and singing at 11, uses pummeling basslines with plenty of searing acid lines in her new set.
Near the beginning of May, ASLØ uploaded her set from Teletech Glasgow at the OVO Hydro to YouTube, where she played her two new tracks. Also included in the hour long mix are songs from Stoltenhoff, Malaa’s Alter Ego and Vortek’s, 999999999 and FLKN, Creeds, and more.
