Z3LLA – X2C (Original Mix)
Making their debut on one of Insomniac Music Group’s newest record label Gotta Move are Z3LLA with “X2C”. Calling their sound “‘hyperbass’, a hook-heavy fusion of pop and bass-driven club sounds tied to their Brazilian and Persian roots”, Julia “Juj” Seeley and Kiana Tebyani craft a bass filled single with metallic synths, chopped vocals, and jaw dropping basslines. The track was put out on the imprint started by Pasquale Rotella in October 2025 in Los Angeles.
Regarding their name, the Los Angeles based duo say that “Z3LLA” is a compilation of our middle names combined. Zahra is Kiana’s middle name deriving from her Persian roots & Elisa is Juj’s middle name named after her Brazilian great grandma.”
Over the past few months, Z3LLA have released tunes such as “Back To Life” with GorillaT, “Heart On Fire” with YDG and Samplifire, and “In Your Dreams”.
They will be performing at Excision’s festival Bass Canyon, which takes place Friday August 14 through Sunday August 16 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington.
