mölly – 22 (Album)
After releasing a few songs form her debut album titled “22” (including “The Art of Letting Go” with Hessian and LeyeT), mölly has now revealed the full 11 track collection. The San Francisco based artist crafts an album full of cinematic melodies, organic soundscapes, and captivating vocals. The set was released by Colorize, the London based melodic and progressive house sublabel of Enhanced Music.
Molly barber shares that “this album was named after a number that kept appearing throughout one of the most meaningful chapters of my life: 22. at first, it felt like a coincidence. then it began showing up so often that i couldn’t ignore it. over time, it became a kind of compass for me—not an answer, but a gentle reminder to keep trusting something bigger than myself, even when i couldn’t yet see where it was all leading.
when i look back now, 22 feels less like an album i made and more like a journey i was invited to take. it asked me to question so many of the stories i carried about myself—about my worth, about love, and about what it means to be an artist. through that process, i began to understand that the things i was working so hard to prove were never things i had to earn in the first place.
for so long, 22 lived only inside me. today, it becomes something you can hold.”
The album consists of “Drops Of Oil”, “Find You” with MØØNE, “Transmission” with Mees Salomé, “All I Wanted” with sandpiper, and “Feeling Something” with OCULA, & Richard Walters.
