DAVI – In Deep EP
Nine months after releasing “Self Align” on 8bit Records, DAVI returns to the imprint with another EP titled “In Deep”. The Armenian artist shows his production talents with atmospheric elements and warm grooves used in the two songs. The set was put out on the Germany based record label started in 2004 by Nick Curly and Gorge.
“The title track ‘In Deep’ unfolds as a slow-burning trip with mesmerizing textures, deep rhythms and an entrancing flow that gradually pulls you in. ‘Chord Syndrome’ takes a more melodic route, layering evolving chords and melodies over sleek hats and a strong, rolling groove.”
Los Angeles based David Khanjian has previously heard his tunes released on imprints such as John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats, and Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels.
