Aswang – Interregnum (Original Mix)
Joining Spanish record label 83 once again is Aswang with a dynamic breakbeat tune in “Interregnum”. Rumbling basslines, tight percussion, and enigmatic beats are used in his latest track. The song was released through the imprint launched by Guau in Mallorca in 2016.
And in case you were curious like I was, the title of the song is defined as “the time during which a throne is vacant between two successive reigns or regimes”.
I couldn’t find much information on Aswang, except that he has previously put out tunes on 83 such as “The Virus”, “Hyperspace”, “The Owl”, and “Deep Feeling” over the past year.
