Austeria – Fields of Asphodel (Album)
Austeria is an artist I’ve had my eye on for a while now, catching my attention with bone rattling tracks such as “Karmic Retribution” with Level Up featuring TINYKVT, “The Dark Side”, “The Unveiling”, and “Trippy”. The Maryland based DJ and producer hinted at an album in July followed by announcing her debut collection in August called “Fields of Asphodel”.
The album consists of “Beyond The Veil”, “Threshold”, “Liminal Realm”, “Seeds of Power”, “Sovereign”, and “Requiem”. Also included are “Reverie”, “Fields of Asphodel”, “Sanctuary”, “The Unseen”, “Covenant with the Shadow”, and “Endless Horizon”. Crunchy basslines, enigmatic beats, and haunting vocals are used throughout the impressive set.
Austeria’s debut album, ‘Fields of Asphodel,’ brings us into the depths of the Underworld and tells the tale of how the dark queen became sovereign over the liminal realm. Simultaneously, the album tells a story of introspection and shadow work – inviting the listener on a journey inward to face and accept all facets of themselves while stepping into their power
Allison Osterman started her project in 2018 and has since gone on to play at noted venues and festivals like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, Mission Ballroom in Colorado, Electric Forest in Michigan, Elements Music & Arts Festival in Pennsylvania, Lost Lands in Ohio, and Bass Canyon in Washington.
Austeria recently started her Fields of Asphodel tour (starting off with an album release party at Meow Wolf in Denver last week) which goes into next year. In 2027, she will be supporting Mersiv on select dates during his Nostalgia tour and supporting Griztronics at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington.
