The Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down ft. Daya (Original Mix)

If you’ve been following OC EDM for a few years, you should know that I’m a huge fan of The Chainsmokers. From their first remix I posted of Daughter’s “Medicine” to their latest hit “Roses” featuring Rozes, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart have been on fire, to say the least.

Their next track is called “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya, which has been released by Disruptor Records. The boys go the trap route for this song and use a few sound packs from LOUDPVCK. It was written alongside Emily Warren, who you might remember from her track with The Chainsmokers titled “Until You’ve Been Gone” with Tritonal.

Rather than go for an all out, in your face trap tune, Alex & Drew give the song some laid back and chill vibes that still pack quite a punch. The vocals from Daya are rather impressive as well, especially for a 17 year old high school junior from Pennsylvania. Make sure to listen through the entire song, as the third drop will hit you like a load of bricks!

The guys have just recently moved from New York to Los Angeles, and a few days ago were able to perform “Roses” with Rozes on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Check out the video below!
